THANK YOU!!

I am absolutely humbled by support shown to me by the voters of Westmoreland County. Thank you!

Reduce the Cost of the Office by 15%

The national media regularly discusses the problems our Federal government is having with budgets and overspending, but we are also experiencing these same issues here in our county. While many of us have to revisit our own budgets to evaluate what we can eliminate, our county government proposed a 2011 budget that increases spending by more than $11 million. I see tax payer money as being sacred, and should be handled with the care with which it was given, and county politicians should not run their house differently than you or I run ours.

Westmoreland County CourthouseFocus on Customer Service

As a small business owner I have learned to carefully monitor my cash flows and reduce my overhead, while still providing the customer service my clients require.  I serve my customers first and foremost, and I will bring that same dedication to the residents of Westmoreland County in the Treasurer’s office.

Not Take a County Pension

I see the role of an elected politician as an opportunity to serve, not for personal gain, which is why I refuse to take the lucrative county pension offered to employees and elected officials.  I know that this one act won’t make a significant change in what I believe is a looming pension problem all across this state, but I hope it will be a catalyst to open discussions about the issues we face with our current pension system.
